The R-1 District currently allows a two  family dwelling, however with this amendment a second dwelling unit is  permitted in the form of either a Secondary Suite in a Single Family dwelling  or a Secondary Dwelling unit.  As Bill 44 prohibits local governments from holding public hearings for Zoning  amendments specifically initiated to comply with Bill 44 requirements, the  Village will not be holding a public hearing for the above bylaw.  Copies of the proposed bylaw and relevant information may be inspected at  the office of the Village of Granisle between the hours of 8:30 A.M. - 12:00  noon and 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays,  June 7 through June 18, 2024 inclusive.
