The Role : As the Associate Manager Decision of Support Services at CLBC, you would be responsible for overseeing Decision Support's operational and management reporting, data quality assurance and improvement, and stakeholder relations. You would also be responsible for playing a key role in the implementation of CLBC's data governance program, corporate performance management framework, business intelligence initiatives and supervising a team delivering a range of Decision Support services. As the Associate Manager of Decision Support, you will provide expert data modelling, analysis and advice to discover insights that will guide operational and tactical decision making and uncover opportunities, ensuring the effective use of data and information to drive positive business actions and outcomes. Responsibilities include: Overseeing Decision Support's operational and management reporting activities Playing a key leadership role in the implementation and advancement of Data Governance in collaboration with the Manager, Decision Support Services. Designing and implementing a process to ensure that data sets are monitored for quality and data cleaning occurs regularly Participating in working groups with departmental stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements Responsible for the implementation of CLBC's corporate performance management framework and tools Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing management of CLBC's reporting and business intelligence applications Responsible for the supervision of the Decision Support team, including recruitment, training, coaching and performance management Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in economics, commerce, mathematics, statistics, computer science or health information science, or related discipline, along with completion of financial management and/or project management courses. Preference will be given to candidates that possess a minimum five years progressive experience providing data analytics reporting or an equivalent combination of education and experience that includes: Economic and financial analysis Client and contract management concepts, systems and applications Performance management activities Advanced experience with business intelligence tools and performing data extractions and transformations Leading quality assurance activities Statistical programming languages, applications and data environments Location: Utilizing a hybrid working model, this position combines on-site office work with work-from-home flexibility.
