Our Story: Since our humble beginnings 30 years ago, CSFS has grown to almost 300 employees providing services to 11-member Nations. CSFS is mandated to establish a comprehensive infrastructure for social, health and legal programs, for the eventual take-over of these services, consistent with the Tribal Council's objective of working towards Indian Self-Government. We deliver all services in accordance with our great law of sharing wealth set in our Bah lats (potlatch) system. In this role, you will get to: Interview clients, prepare case histories and assess problems. Develop counseling and intervention programs to assist clients in determining goals and means of attaining them. Provide community education and consultation to other professional groups regarding counselling services, issues and methods. What You Will Bring to The Role: Ability to facilitate learning based on learner s age, education level, and need or readiness to learn in either on-on-one or group settings 2 years of related experience with responsibility for providing a range of community based mental health services. Registration or eligibility to be registered with respective professional body. Masters degree in Social Work, Educational Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or comparable degree with strong clinical skills.
