About this role: What you ll do: Ensure each resident is assessed to determine their occupational therapy needs and abilities and create an action plan that allows the residents to fully enjoy life Engage and inspire a team of Therapy Aides in being their best in their interaction with residents and other team members Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and communicate progress with family members What you ll need: Completion of an Occupational Therapy program from a Canadian accredited post secondary institution Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia Previous Occupational Therapy experience in a health care facility preferred; experience in gerontology an asset Proven experience preparing assessments and MDS Perks Benefits Job variety, no two days will be the same Amazing residents with rich life stories Competitive salary and benefits Send us your cover letter and resume and don t forget to tell us about yourself.
