Golden Museum 
Assistant Curator 
Closing Date: May 18, 2018 with review of applications until the position is filled. Project will run from May 28, 2018 thru Aug 17, 2018. Project: The Assistant Curator will perform a variety of tasks, that will enhance visitors enjoyment of the Golden Museum and other sites relating to the Golden Museum. Qualifications: Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. At ease communicating and working with volunteers. Familar with standard computer programs, having excellent written and oral communications skills. Cash handling experience is necessary. Responsibilities: Greet guests, processing admission fees and insuring that visitors receive an initial orientation of the museum. This will be the museums primary tour guide, showing people through the Museum and other places offsites, educating them about the exhibits in an entertaining way. Level of Education: The successful candidate will be a college or university student with an interest in history, museums or tourism. In order to be eligible the student must be a full time student returning to school in the fall session and be between the ages of 16 and 30 years. Salary: $13.00 per hour.
