Merchandising Associate 
Merchandising Associate Reports to the Merchandising Manager Provides exceptional customer service by completing all modular and ensuring they are safely stocked; maintaining accurate modular integrity and signage; maintain a safe and clean environment; part of a team that strategically plans and executes duties based on workload and operational functions. This position works early mornings, can be as early as 5am, all days of the week. General Responsibilities: Setting modular and merchandising non basic items using proper fixtures, signage and supplies Printing modular, labels and reviewing the floor plan for accuracy Ensuring modulars are finalized in the system and completing hand-off walks Providing customer service by greeting all customers with a friendly smile; responding to requests for information and service; assisting customers in locating merchandise Practice safe work habits by: Following pallet jack and equipment safety procedures and proper lifting techniques Following riser and ladder safety Ensure cleanliness through disposing of garbage/cardboard quickly; maintaining clean modulars Demonstrates initiative and dependability by working well on his/her own and requiring little supervision; excelling in a team working environment; being flexible based on freight flow and demand Meet the general physical requirements of the position: Spend frequent periods standing with some opportunity to move about Frequent requirement to stoop or lift material, fixtures or equipment and climb a ladder Regularly lift and/or move up to 18kg (40lbs) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 36kg (80lbs) Walmart Canada Benefits available to all associates, both FT and PT: Schedules created three weeks in advance - variety of shifts and hours per week depending on department, role and FT/PT status Associate discount card after 6 months Extended health and dental and MSP coverage for all associates once eligibility requirements have been met Participation in Incentive programs, profit sharing plan and stock purchase plan, once eligible Career growth and development opportunities To Apply: careers.walmart.ca To meet us in person please come and see us live on site at The Black Press Extreme Education Career Fair Thursday, April 11th from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Rutland Centennial Hall 215 Shepherd Rd, Kelowna (1047934h)
