Taiga Building Products General Warehouse Worker General Warehouse Worker - LANGLEY, BC Job Title: General Warehouse worker Location: 26848, Gloucester Way, Langley BC, V4W 3V 6 Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Taiga Building Products - Langley, BC is looking to expand its Langley yard team with a few full-time permanent positions, reporting to Yard Supervisor. The successful candidates must show experience in the lumber and building product industry as well as motivation in a high production environment and be willing to go the extra mile when needed. Minimum two years' experience in a warehouse, shipping, or distribution facility, preferably in the Building Materials industry. Forklift experience. Ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to promote teamwork. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and direct the warehouse operation through the supervision of warehouse staff and resources. Motivate, guide, lead, and train staff. Arrange loads for trucks, prior to loading, in a cost-effective manner. Load and unload trucks as per schedule. Maintaining inventory levels by physical inventory, computer inventory and daily production reports; accountable for inventory shortages and damages. Ensure inventory is tagged and recorded properly when shipped. Ensure delivery schedules and quantity requirements are met. Resolve shipping issues and problems. Handle relevant administrative duties, i.e., receiving and bills of lading are correctly completed daily. Ensure health and safety rules and regulations are applied and followed. HOW TO APPLY?
