IT Technician 
NAK AZDLI WHUT EN JOB POSTING IT Technician We are seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT ) Technician who would be responsible for installing and maintaining all computer systems, servers, networks and software s needed on an ongoing basis for the effective, safe and trouble-free usage of IT systems in the workplace. The IT Technician shall also keep track of all IT equipment, place orders for new systems and repair existing systems. Duties Responsibilities: Set up and maintain all user workstations and software configurations Setup and maintain all servers and networks in all departments Setup and maintain software installations, upgrade, licenses and configurations Setup and maintain the mailserver and all user mail accounts. Ensure that all security systems, configurations and software s are up to date for firewalls, virus scanning, and removal and blocking of spam, phishing and hacking attempts. Maintain and track an inventory of all IT systems, computers, printers, laptops, scanners etc. Manage and maintain all organization-owned cellphones and cellphone configurations. Maintain hardware and software inventory. Conduct daily backup operations. Undertake other related duties as may be requested. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field MCSE, MCDST, MCP, MOS or other Microsoft certification 2+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance Hands-on experience with diverse computer systems and networks Experience with webpage development and maintenance Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment In-depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Possess a valid BC Class 5 drivers license Note: Candidate will be required to provide an acceptable criminal record check as a condition of employment.
