Residential Child and Youth Worker 
JOB TITLE: Residential Child and Youth Worker JOB SUMMARY: Required to work independently and as part of a team, often in stressful conditions with clients who have experienced extreme trauma and a variety of other mental health issues/concerns. The successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills. In addition, they must be able to support residents in achieving the overall goals of their service plans through the provision of life skills and recreation programming of residents. This position requires one to work effectively in the conditions of a residential environment, which may include: handling aggressive clients, body fluids and/or other undesirable situations. WAGE: $21.92 to 25.53 per hour. Shifts vary between 7am and 11pm.
