Do you have the drive, the skills, and the passion to join us? Overview: We are currently hiring Construction Labourers to support our construction and paving operations. Responsibilities: Shoveling, and other labour duties as assigned Back up/line up trucks Job set-up and tear down Load and unload materials/tools from the trucks Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner Perform work in outdoor construction site settings Working alongside the paving / base crew Act in a courteous manner in order to project a positive company image Assist with other duties as required from time to time Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Qualifications: Willing to learn and take direction Must be able to communicate well with co-workers Must have a valid driver's license with a preference given to those holding a class 3 with air, or higher Must be able to work under pressure Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies Physically fit Must be able to work overtime, weekends, nights, and early starts (irregular hours) when necessary As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.
