PEER COORDINATOR Are you looking to be part of the solution when it comes to the Overdose Response? Hope Area Transition Society is looking for an individual who may have lived experience and/or work experience as it pertains to substance use and the opioid crisis. The Peer Coordinator will respond to the Overdose Crisis and lend insight and expertise to a Community Response, working alongside Substance Use and Homeless Outreach Teams. If you feel this is you and you can: Provide outreach and training to the community through a trauma informed approach Empower your peers to be leaders in the community, who can offer insight and perspective to the Overdose Crisis Strengthen and engage community relationships Provide cultural awareness and foster partnerships with local First Nations and Elders Apply to roxanne@hopetransition.org . The position will begin April 1, 2021 and will remain open till the position is filled. This position is a term position for 9-months, is 32 hours per week and has flexibility to work from home and in office. (1104016h)
