Restaurant Supervisor 
Position: Restaurant Supervisor Coast Hotels is a dynamic and growing brand. The Restaurant Supervisor will supports with assisting food beverage operations, to create a guest experience that exceeds expectations, and ensures a positive team member work environment. The ideal candidate for this position is friendly, detail oriented, and able to handle the physical demands of the job. A successful candidate will be required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that guests are greeted upon arrival, and questions or concerns are promptly and courteously resolved Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all Coast standards and steps of service are met Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift Provide exceptional customer service to guests by clearly communicating and resolving challenges to guest satisfaction Manage the staff in the restaurant, poolside patio and room service to attract, retain and motivate the employees; hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication within the department Create, recommend and implement promotions, displays, food presentations and ideas to capture more in house guests and a larger share of the local market Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the restaurant to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Skill Requirement s: Required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays Must hold a valid Serving It Right Certificate and Hepatitis A vaccine A post-graduate diploma or certificate in restaurant or hotel management is an asset Minimum of 2 years hospitality industry experience in a restaurant Managerial/Supervisory role Excellent communications skills both oral and written when dealing with guests and employees both internally and externally Strong working knowledge of restaurant industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred not mandatory Coast Hotels offers a variety of benefits, including competitive wages benefits, employee discounts, training development, career advancement opportunities and more!
