As the first point of contact for all matters relating to Human Resources and Labour Relations, you will provide guidance and coaching to staff at all levels of the organization. You will possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop positive and productive relationships that support strategic objectives and the needs of our employees. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be a member of a highly functioning and supportive team in which you will cultivate a progressive Human Resources strategy utilizing strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills while demonstrating the maturity to provide effective leadership. As the ideal candidate, you will possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management as well as previous Human Resources experience in a unionized environment. A CPHR designation or similar accreditation is considered an asset. Examples of Job Duites and Tasks Demonstrating effective leadership in all Human Resources functions Providing direction and recommendations to complex Human Resources and Labour Relations matters Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Resolving conflicts, handling grievances and addressing labour/management issues Negotiating, interpreting and administering collective agreements This is an exempt position with a 35-hour work week and an excellent benefits package. The salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
