Job Description Join The Canadian Union That Supports Your Future Interests Qualified candidates must be already local resident to the Lower Mainland (from Horseshoe Bay to Chilliwack) of BC. We do have other locals within BC we could direct applicants to. The CMAW Carpenters Scaffolders Union Local 1995 is actively recruiting calling all Scaffolders (Journeyperson non-ticketed) and Apprentice scaffolders of all levels for filling an on going work demand. CMAW s the largest Carpenters Scaffolders Union in British Columbia. We have a variety employment opportunities in commercial, institutional, and industrial work for scaffolding that is in demand throughout the Lower Mainland. We are seeking skilled workers with experience in the following fields: System Tube and Clamp Candidates should have the following valid certificates of the following: CSTS-09 (free online registration training offered) Fall arrest/protection Confined space WHIMS (Certification training is available if needed) Wages are set out as per Collective Agreements with the employers. It includes an EMPLOYER PAID union pension and benefits package which totals $6.40 per hour for a Journeyperson (this $6.40 per hour is on top of your hourly rate). Job Type: Full-time Salary starts at $21/hour (first year apprentice) to $38/hour (Journeyperson). These are our minimum rates. Industrial job rates are higher. (Foreman salary has a 15% payout increase from Journeyperson rates).
