Join BC Cancer Kelowna as a Unit Clerk to maintain an efficient Ambulatory Care Unit while establishing meaningful patient connections. What you ll do Transcribe and process doctors orders. Book patient tests, services, return appointments, and coordinate inter-related appointments. Gather patient information for clinic appointments to assist in facilitating an efficient patient flow through the Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU). Perform a variety of clerical and receptionist duties. Maintain and update patient master files. What you bring Grade 12 graduation. Graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program. One (1) year s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. The ability to keyboard a minimum of 40 WPM.
