Invitation to review and provide  Invitation to review and provide comment on the Kitwancool Cranberry Forest  Products and Kitwancool Nass Forest Products Forest Stewardship Plan  Kitwancool Cranberry Forest Products, holder of Forest License A88973 and A88974,  and Kitwancool Nass Forest Products, holder of Forest License A96100 and FNWL N3A,  are seeking a five-year replacement of its Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) in the Kispiox  and the Nass Timber Supply Areas. The FSP is designed to direct development related  to primary forest activities for cut blocks and roads that will be managed under this  plan within three planned areas of interest (Forest Development Units or FDUs), FDU  A, FDU B, and the Nass South FDU.  The FSP describes the general location of operations and the strategies and results  that will be applied in these areas to ensure consistency with the objectives for critical  forest values. The objectives are derived from the Forest and Range Practices Act, its  associated regulations, the Cranberry Land Use Order, and the Nass South Sustainable  Resource Management Plan. The term of the FSP will be five years. PUBLIC NOTICE <br>“District of Kitimat  PUBLIC NOTICE  “District of Kitimat Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw No. 2047, 2024”  Pursuant to sections 124 and 94 of the Community Charter, the District of Kitimat is considering changes to  the Council Procedure divisions in the Kitimat Municipal Code.  In summary, the District of Kitimat is considering the following procedural changes:  •    Subdivision 7 - Delegations  o    •    Subdivision 12 – Public Input / Questions on Agenda Items, Questions and Answers and Media  Inquiries  o    •    The proposed change would not allow delegations in instances where Council has resolved not  to hold a Public Hearing or where Public Hearings cannot be held. (LGA S. 481.3)    The proposed change would allow Public Input, in limited circumstances, on topics where  delegations are not allowed.    Subdivision 4 – Adjourning Meeting Where no Quorum  o    The proposed change would allow 15 minutes for quorum to be established prior to a meeting of  Council being adjourned, this change would increase from the current 10 minute waiting period.    The bylaw is scheduled for consideration for adoption on Monday, May 6, 2024.  This notice is provided in advance of Council’s consideration of adoption of the proposed bylaw amendment.
