This FOM is available for public review and comment  from April 18, 2024 to May 21, 2024. This FOM is available for review at Fraser Lake  Sawmills, 6626 Highway 16 East, Fraser Lake, BC during the business hours of 7:30am  to 4:30pm or on the Forest Operations Map (gov.bc.ca) website.  This FOM identifies the location of proposed cutblocks and roads, thinning operations,  and the timing of these proposed operations. The FOM is a requirement under the  Forest and Range Practices Act and is intended to enhance transparency of operational  planning and to provide engagement opportunities for interested members of the public  and community stakeholders. PUBLIC NOTICE <br>“District of Kitimat  PUBLIC NOTICE  “District of Kitimat Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw No. 2047, 2024”  Pursuant to sections 124 and 94 of the Community Charter, the District of Kitimat is considering changes to  the Council Procedure divisions in the Kitimat Municipal Code.  In summary, the District of Kitimat is considering the following procedural changes:  •    Subdivision 7 - Delegations  o    •    Subdivision 12 – Public Input / Questions on Agenda Items, Questions and Answers and Media  Inquiries  o    •    The proposed change would not allow delegations in instances where Council has resolved not  to hold a Public Hearing or where Public Hearings cannot be held. (LGA S. 481.3)    The proposed change would allow Public Input, in limited circumstances, on topics where  delegations are not allowed.    Subdivision 4 – Adjourning Meeting Where no Quorum  o    The proposed change would allow 15 minutes for quorum to be established prior to a meeting of  Council being adjourned, this change would increase from the current 10 minute waiting period.    The bylaw is scheduled for consideration for adoption on Monday, May 6, 2024.  This notice is provided in advance of Council’s consideration of adoption of the proposed bylaw amendment.
